Module 2, Lesson 2:
Meet Agent
GAMMA 1O1

Okay, this is where things get really fun.
Meet Agent — your AI design partner who never sleeps, never judges your rough drafts, and honestly makes you look way better than you probably deserve.
Agent can do a ton of things: research the web, rewrite content, change layouts, extract info from screenshots, even restyle your entire deck. And it works through conversation, which makes it feel way more natural than clicking through menus.
Let me show you.
Opening Agent
There's Agent. You can also click the sparkle icon to open Agent for a specific card, or click the sparkle in the top right to open it for your entire gamma—that's a Pro feature.
Singe Card Editing
Let's say I want to make this section more compelling. I'll type:
"Make this problem statement more urgent and specific for busy professionals."
Okay, look at this. Agent made a suggestion. I think this is better, so I'll keep it but I can just click here if I want to compare or go back to the old version.
Done. Way more compelling, and it took like 10 seconds.
Web Research with Citations
Here's something else you can do. Let's say I want to add some data to back up our pitch. I'll ask Agent to research for me. I'll type:
"Find recent statistics on the specialty coffee market size and growth trends."
Okay, Agent just pulled real data from the web, complete with citations. Now I can take this info and add it directly to my deck—maybe in a "Market Opportunity" card.
This is huge because it means you're not jumping between tabs, Googling things, and trying to remember where you saw that one stat. Agent does the research for you. It's worth mentioning that Agent can also provide citations for content you've already generated.
Extracting Content from Screenshots
Let's try something else. Say I have a screenshot of a competitor's pricing page and I want to recreate it in Gamma without manually retyping everything. I'll drop this screenshot into Agent and say:
"Extract the pricing information from this image and create a pricing comparison card."
Look at that. Agent read the screenshot, pulled out the text, and formatted it into a clean card. I didn't type a single word from that image.
This works for charts, tables, anything with text in it. You'll never have to retype information from a screenshot again.
Multicard Editing
Another thing you can do is edit your entire gamma at once. Let me show you what I mean. I'll type something like:
"Add right-aligned accent images to all cards that don't have visuals."
See that? Agent just updated every card that needed an image. In one go. This is a massive time-saver when you're working on a big deck and want consistency across all your slides.
Other Things Agent Can Do
1
Translate Text
Ask it to translate a card or your whole gamma into another language
2
Fix Spelling and Grammar
Obvious, but super handy
3
Change the Theme
Just say "Make this look more professional" or "Use warmer colors"
4
Add Cards
"Add an executive summary card at the beginning"
5
Summarize Content
"Condense this card into three bullet points"
Agent is basically your creative partner. You tell it what you want, and it figures out how to do it.

Quick tip 💡
If Agent's first suggestion isn't perfect, just iterate. Say "Make it shorter" or "Try a different layout" or "Add more specific examples." It's a conversation—you can keep refining until it's exactly what you want.
📌 Your Turn:

Try Agent on your gamma:
  • Ask it to rewrite a card to be more exciting (or choose whatever adjective is useful for you)
  • Have it research something relevant to your topic and pull in data
  • If you have a screenshot handy, upload it and ask Agent to extract the content
  • Try a multi-card edit like "Add accent images to all cards"
Spend a few minutes just playing with Agent. The more you use it, the more you'll discover what it can do.
Share your ideas faster and more beautifully with AI.
