Smart Layouts are pre-built templates for common content types—timelines, galleries, columns, comparison tables, all that stuff. Instead of building these from scratch, you just drop in a layout and fill it with your content.

Let's say I want to add a timeline showing BrewBox's launch roadmap. I'll choose the timeline layout.

Now I just fill in the dates and milestones.

See how clean that looks? And I didn't have to think about spacing, alignment, or any of that. The layout handles it.

You've got galleries for showcasing images, column layouts for side-by-side comparisons, and more. And you can switch between layouts anytime.

If I decide I don't like the timeline format, I can click here and switch to a different layout. Gamma automatically adjusts the content to fit.

Here's something subtle but really useful. If you're not sure what layout to use, you can ask AI for ideas.

Agent will show you a few different layout options based on your content. You can preview them in real time and pick the one you like best.

It's like having a designer suggest options without you having to browse through a menu.

Themes control the overall look and feel of your gamma—fonts, colors, card styles, button shapes, all of it. We've got a bunch of pre-designed themes here, and they're a quick way to make your gamma look polished.

See how the same content can feel totally different depending on the theme? This one's clean and minimal, this one's bold and colorful, this one's elegant and professional.

Boom. Instant makeover.

Another thing you can do is create your own custom themes. This is huge for brand consistency, especially if you're creating a lot of gammas for your company or clients.

You can upload your logo, define your color palette, choose custom fonts, set default accent images – and even control how AI-generated images should look.

Once you create a custom theme, it's saved to your workspace and everyone on your team can use it. So all your gammas stay on-brand without anyone having to think about it.

You can also import themes from PowerPoint or Google Slides. If you already have a branded template in another tool, you can bring it into Gamma and it'll extract the colors, fonts, and logo.

Just upload a .pptx file and Gamma does the rest. Super handy if you're migrating from another platform.
