Module 3, Lesson 3:
Export and Publish
GAMMA 1O1

Last thing—getting your gamma out of Gamma. Sometimes you need a PDF for a client, or a PowerPoint file for someone who doesn't use Gamma, or you want to publish your gamma as an actual website. Let's cover all of that.
Exporting Your Gamma
You've got a few export options here:
PDF
Best for sharing offline, printing, or sending via email. This is what your gamma looks like in Present Mode, frozen as a PDF.
PNG
Exports individual cards as image files. Useful if you need graphics for social media or a blog post.
PowerPoint (PPTX)
Converts your gamma into a PowerPoint file. This also works with Google Slides—just upload the .pptx file.
Let's export as PDF.
There it is—your entire deck as a PDF, formatted exactly how it looks when you present. You can email this, print it, whatever you need.
Exporting Individual Cards
If you only want to export one card—maybe it's a specific graphic or slide—you can do that too.
Same options—PDF or PNG. Super handy when you just need one piece of your gamma.
Posting Directly to LinkedIn
Here's something cool.
You can post your gamma directly to LinkedIn without exporting to PDF first. Gamma formats it for LinkedIn's carousel format, and you can add a caption right here.
Click Post, and it goes live on your LinkedIn feed. Way easier than manually creating a carousel.
Publishing as a Website
Now, if you want to publish your gamma as a full website—not just a presentation—here's how that works.
Gamma will give you a free subdomain for each site—something like yourname.gamma.site.
You can customize the subdomain here, and then click Publish.
Boom. Your gamma is now live on the web. Anyone with the link can visit it like a regular website—no login required, no "you need a Gamma account" barrier.
Custom Domains (Pro Feature)
If you're on Pro and you own a domain, you can connect it here.
You can choose Automatic Setup or Manual DNS Setup. Gamma walks you through the process, and once it's verified, your gamma will be live at your custom domain.
One heads up—after you connect your domain, it might take a few hours for the SSL certificate to issue. That's normal. If it's been more than 24 hours and it's still not working, reach out to Gamma support.
Updating Published Sites
Here's the best part about publishing as a website—you can update it anytime.
Change some text, swap an image, add a card—whatever. Then click Publish again.
All your changes go live instantly. You're not re-uploading a file or dealing with hosting—you just... update and publish. It's that easy.
Embedding Gammas
You can also embed gammas in other websites—like your company site or a blog.
Copy the embed code and paste it into your website. Your gamma shows up as an interactive element on your page.
API Access (Pro Feature)
If you're a developer or you want to integrate Gamma into your own tools, the API is available to Pro, Teams, and Business plan subscribers.
Check out developers.gamma.app for details on how to use it.
📌 Your Turn:

Export your gamma in a few different formats:
  • Export as PDF and open it to see how it looks
  • Try exporting a single card as PNG
  • If you want to publish as a website, go ahead and publish—see what it looks like live
  • Pro users: try connecting a custom domain if you have one handy
Take a few minutes. Get comfortable with getting your work out of Gamma and into the world.
Okay, you did it. You know how to create a gamma, design it, polish it with Agent, present it like a pro, collaborate with teammates, and get it out into the world. That's the whole workflow—start to finish.
You're already good to go. But In the next section, we'll wrap up with some quick tips, resources, and a challenge to keep you learning. Let's finish this.
